Black cyberbeauty wins 2006 virtual beauty tilt

Organizers noted that female digital artists participated this year. They are Lara Guffanti who won second place with her digital model Kyra, Australian Ileonora Nashara, and Daniela D’Andrea who created mermaid-inspired Lorelei.
Miss Digital World is a creation of Franz Cerami, who is also media event designer and creator of Panorami Sintetici, Monumedia and Corto Circuito. With videogame heroines like Lara Croft and digital anchorwoman Ananova getting more media attention, this virtual contest has become an avenue for digital artists to showcase their creativity.
This year, organizers have also announced the release of a Miss Digital World Calendar 2007, the first calendar in the world featuring 3D graphic models.
The virtual competition takes place at www.missdigitalworld.com. Participants need to submit high-resolution photos and animated videos of their 3D graphic models.
