The whole universe surrounds us. When we reflect on the vastness, the beauty and the strenght of the world and of the nature, the humanity seems irrelevant, nothing, in the purest sense of the word. We feel so small and insignificant compared to the enormous reality around us.
Therefore, are we human beings, and the earth where we live on, anonymous and negligible Inhabitants of the cosmos?
The photographic project “The Copernicus Complex” reflects on this issue, showing a huge world in which human beings move in and seem tiny and imperceptible compared to it.
The artworks series lead the viewer into the comparison between microcosm and macrocosm, to suggest how we can find our possible dimension in the universe.
